Isner Holds Charity Event in Greensboro
Two-time Winston-Salem Open champion John Isner was joined by Andy Roddick and Justin Gimelstob in the Triad last week for his annual Ebix Charity Challenge, raising more than $97,000 for the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center in Chapel Hill.

The pros hosted a children’s clinic in the morning before Isner took on Roddick in a light-hearted exhibition match before a crowd of more than 1,200 at UNCG’s Fleming Gym.

The Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center has special meaning for Isner as it’s where his mother Karen twice beat colon cancer.
