Hamad Medjedovic celebrated a career milestone following his quarter-final run at the Winston-Salem Open, where he surged to a personal-best position in the PIF ATP Rankings.

Botic van de Zandschulp pieced together a strong week of his own to reach his third tour-level final, but it was Marton Fucsovics who rose above them and powered to his third ATP Tour title. Each player’s run translated into meaningful moves in the PIF ATP Rankings.

It All Adds Up

ATPTour.com breaks down the latest shifts in the PIF ATP Rankings as of Monday, 25 August.

No. 57 Hamad Medjedovic, +8 (Career High)
By reaching his third ATP Tour quarter-final of the year, Medjedovic jumped eight spots to a career-high No. 57. The former Next Gen ATP Finals presented by PIF champion notched wins against Arthur Rinderknech, 15th seed Jacob Fearnley, and fourth seed Gabriel Diallo en route to the last eight.

In the third round in Cincinnati last week, Medjedovic tested eventual champion Carlos Alcaraz and he will now head with confidence to the US Open, where he could face a second-round meeting with Stefanos Tsitsipas.

No. 37 Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, +2
Big-serving Frenchman Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard had notched just one tour-level win from six matches heading into his Winston-Salem debut, but he turned his form around in style. The 22-year-old, who sent a reminder of the potential of his quick game, stormed to his first ATP Tour semi-final since Brisbane in January.

No. 63 Marton Fucsovics, +31
Despite competing in his first tournament of the North American hard-court swing, Fucsovics cleared through the field in Winston-Salem to capture his third ATP Tour title, and first on hard courts. It was a run that included a statement victory over second seed Tallon Griekspoor, improving to 4-0 in their Lexus ATP Head2Head series.

The Hungarian, who got married two weeks ago, began the year outside the Top 100, but the former World No. 31 now sits at No. 63. He notably reached the quarter-finals in Stuttgart as a qualifier and then came through two five-set wins to make the third round at Wimbledon as a lucky loser.

No. 73 Botic van de Zandschulp, +19
The wait for Van de Zandschulp’s first ATP Tour title may go on, but the Dutchman will nonetheless take great confidence from his run to a third ATP Tour final, during which he rallied in three of his five victories. The 29-year-old, who also reached the semi-finals in Kitzbuehel last month, is closing in on a return to the Top 50 for the first time since January last year. He owns a 14-14 tour-level record in 2025, according to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index.

No. 75 Sebastian Korda, +11
Although Sebastian Korda was forced to withdraw from his semi-final clash against Fucsovics through illness, it was a successful return from injury for the American in Winston-Salem. He suffered a stress fracture on his shin in May and had not competed since Roland Garros, missing all of the grass-court swing, but the 25-year-old notched three wins in a convincing comeback and rose to No. 75.
