Two-Time Grand Slam Finalist Stefanos Tsitsipas Awarded Wild Card Into 2025 Winston-Salem Open.

Former World No. 3 and 2019 ATP Finals Champion set to make Winston-Salem Open debut.

The Winston-Salem Open has awarded two-time Grand Slam finalist Stefanos Tsitsipas a wild card into the 2025 tournament. This will be the 12x ATP Tour champion’s debut appearance in Winston-Salem.

“It’s an honor to award a wild card to a player of Stefanos Tsitsipas’ caliber,” said Tournament Director Jeff Ryan. “He brings a world-class pedigree that adds to our already exciting 2025 player field, and we can’t wait to see him in action here in Winston-Salem.”

Tsitsipas reached a career-high ranking of World No. 3 in 2021 and has finished runner-up at the 2021 French Open and 2023 Australian Open. He has one title to his name so far in 2025 claimed at the ATP 500 Dubai Tennis Championships in February.

Tsitsipas joins a number of Top 50 stars set to compete at this year’s event including reigning Winston-Salem Open champion Lorenzo Sonego and 2024 finalist Alex Michelsen.
