Sebastian Korda withdrew from his Winston-Salem Open semi-final on Friday due to illness. His scheduled opponent, Marton Fucsovics, advances to Saturday’s final.
Korda had produced good form in his first tournament since Roland Garros, defeating Vit Kopriva, Kamil Majchrzak and Miomir Kecmanovic en route to the last four.
“Hi everyone. Woke up a bit under the weather and thought it was going to be difficult to play today,” Korda said. “Been a long three months recovering and want to stay on track. Thanks for all the support and love.”
