Former World No. 1 and 2021 U.S. Open champion Daniil Medvedev makes his return to Winston-Salem tonight on Stadium Court. He takes on American wild card Martin Damm in one of the most anticipated matches of the tournament so far.

Medvedev returns to Winston-Salem for the first time since winning the title in 2018. Now ranked World No. 7, the former champion will look to make another run as he begins his tournament under the lights tonight.

The local favorites are making some noise as well. Wake Forest's DK Suresh and Mees Rottgering both moved into the second round with impressive wins Monday. Suresh defeated American Marcos Giron 6-3, 7-5, while Rottgering battled past Britain's Jan Choinski in a three-setter, 7-5, 2-6, 6-4.

Both Demon Deacs are back on Court 2 today with spots in the third round on the line. Suresh will take on No. 8 seed Juan Manuel Cerundolo, followed by Rottgering against No. 14 seed Tomas Machac. Their matches will follow the day's opening match between Adam Walton and No. 3 seed Ignacio Buse.

The star-studded lineup continues with No. 2 seed Luciano Darderi set to continue his strong 2026 season against Mattia Bellucci at 2 p.m. on Stadium Court. Following that match, Wimbledon semifinalist and No. 4 seed Arthur Fery will face 17-year-old Cruz Hewitt, son of International Tennis Hall of Famer Lleyton Hewitt.

From two Demon Deacs looking to keep their runs alive to one of the biggest names in tennis returning to Stadium Court, Tuesday offers a full day of must-see tennis in Winston-Salem.
